Ridwell Review: A Busy Family’s Secret for Sustainable Living

As a mom juggling work, school schedules, errands, and a newborn, I’m always looking for ways to live more sustainably without adding to my to-do list. Step 3: Start Sorting

A Few Considerations

• You Still Need a Trash Plan: Ridwell helps significantly, but it won’t eliminate your waste entirely. You’ll still need regular recycling and trash services. But you will notice a difference in how full your bins are.
• Pickup Schedule: Pickups are every two weeks. If you generate a lot of recyclables (or live in a small space), you might need to get creative about storage between pickups.
• Small Bin and Bags: Despite our best efforts we generate more plastics than we can easily fit into the provided bags and bin – especially with Amazon mailers!
